Introduction
The Technical and Network Support Program is a three-pronged curriculum, emphasizing the need to satisfy both internal and external customers with regard to computers, networks, and information security. We focus on ensuring that the students have the needed knowledge, skills, and confidence to quickly compete in today’s ever-changing world of technology. Basing the students’ training on accepted world-wide standards opens up more opportunities as the students are not bound to one particular manufacturer or supplier. Our graduates are not only ready to start and succeed in their new career within the Information Technology field, but to grow and excel quickly by using their broad foundation of knowledge and skills.
As the Information Technology field grows and reinvents itself in the wake of corporate downsizing and fraud, our graduates are positioning themselves on the cutting edge of a new economy. Government and industry professionals all agree that Information Technology professionals with a broad-based background and willingness to adapt to a company’s unique needs will be highly valued. In fact, Network Administrators, Help-Desk Professionals, and Information Security Experts are three of the most sought-after job categories among the global economy’s Information Technology companies. Starting a new career, excelling and growing within it, and providing peace of mind and job satisfaction, are what the Technical and Network Support Program is all about.
