The curriculum covers the basics of digital photography with special focus on both print and web media and the latest emerging formats.
Digital photographs can easily be displayed, printed, stored, manipulated, transmitted and archived using digital and computer techniques, without chemical processing. Program Overview
The Associate Degree of Applied Science in Digital Photography for Graphic Design explores traditional photography techniques using today’s growing digital technology. Students will be trained for the Creative Services industry to capture both still and moving images, as well as have the ability to work with both words and images in a digital or printed form. This program covers the basics of digital photography with special focus on both print and web media and emerging formats. Course work in this program covers photographic terminology, color theory, lighting, composition, exposure, digital darkroom, digital workflow and media management practices.
